Hi @BeataBell ,

Your query is not entirely clear. Could you please elaborate further and clarify whether you are trying to create a new expense report or referring to the Reporting module?

Also, are you using SAP Concur for the first time?

Based on your response, we will be able to guide you through the appropriate next steps.

Thanks!
Regards,
Pooja

Hi @BeataBell

Topic: Concur report, which shows expenses per employee per category with suppliers names

Please try the below. Hope it helps.

-----

You can create this report in SAP Concur Reporting (Analysis or Intelligence), provided your company has the reporting functionality enabled and your account has the appropriate permissions.

How to create the report?

  1. Open Reporting → Analysis or Intelligence.
  2. Select an existing expense-detail report or create a custom report, depending on your permissions.
  3. Add the fields Employee Name, Expense Type/Category, Vendor Name, Transaction Date, and Approved Amount.
  4. Apply a date-range filter.
  5. Group by Employee → Expense Category → Vendor.
  6. Run the report and export it to Excel if required.

Why you cannot see Reporting ?

The Reporting menu may be missing because your account does not have the required reporting role, or your company has not enabled the relevant reporting product.

Ask your SAP Concur Administrator to check:

Administration → Company → User Permissions → Reporting

The administrator can assign an appropriate role:

  • Cognos Consumer: Run existing reports.
  • Cognos Business Author: Create or modify basic reports.
  • Cognos Professional Author: Create advanced custom reports.

These roles and capabilities are documented by SAP Concur.

Recommendation: Request Business Author access if you need to build this report yourself, subject to your company's reporting license and data-access policy. Alternatively, ask an authorized reporting administrator to create and schedule it for you.

Thanks & Regards

@BeataBell the first things we all need to know are: 1. Do you have access to Cognos reporting? 2. If the answer is yes, have you built Cognos reports before?

A person's Cognos level of experience is helpful for us to know so we can determine the level of detail to provide as far as giving the steps are concerned.

Thank you,
