Re: Concur Expense Tab Keeps Vanishing

I've been using Concur for some time. Over a week ago, the expense tab suddenly vanished.

On Monday, they solved the issue and indicated that for some reason the box for expense user was no longer checked.

Everything was working fine, but when I entered the Concur a few hours later the expense tab once again was gone and so were my permissions related to expenses.

What could be causing this problem?

@boxingfan22 this is just a guess...if your company does an employee import, it is possible something changed on the file that is brought in and overrides the setting.

Again, just a guess here since I haven't looked in your site.

It just happened again to me.

From what I can tell, every time I submit an expense to a report - my settings reset by morning.

I do have several reports that I created last year (in advance for months in 2023), and I'm adding expenses generated from this year to one of those reports, could that have anything to do with it?

I deleted all of the old reports, created a new one, re-did the expenses. Everything was fine all day and night, but once the new day began - after midnight EST - I lost my permissions for the expense portal.

Do you happen to know what happens with the program, once midnight hits, that would override my permissions? It tends to happen whenever I work on an expense. Everything is fine all day, but once the day ends my permissions are gone - only for expenses, I can still access Concur itself.

I agree with @KevinD's suggestion previously - this is likely an overnight employee import job that is overwriting your permissions every time it runs.

I assume you're in touch with a Concur administrator in your company who is manually fixing your permissions whenever you lose your Expense access? I would ask to investigate the import jobs.
