Can we stop the mobile app from opening when the user login on mobile browser?

Hello, we notice that when a user logs in to concur via web browser on tablet or mobile it will automatically switch to the app. Is there a way to stop this from happening in the settings?

Can you please confirm whether my understanding about your query is correct?

So basically you are asking currently users are logging in to Concur on mobile app and instead of using Concur app they are currently logging in using browser however it is redirecting them to a Concur app which is installed on mobile? Does my understanding is correct?

Also, just wanted to understand why does user's login through browser on mobile? why don't they use Concur app?

Hey Pooja, we want to get the user to login via browser on their mobiles because they have to submit claim as a delegate. But when they login on their mobile browser, it automatically switch to the app. Can we stop that?

With below settings you can stop switching between browser and app.

You can try below setting which I have tried in my android. Hope it will work in iOS also considering app settings are same.

Settings to stop opening in browser:

1. Go to mobile Settings

2. In Search >> type "Opening links" and double click to open

3. On next page >> from the listed apps >> click SAP Concur 

4. Disable "Open supported links" option.

5. Done.

Now open SAP Concur app, it will not open in browser.

Settings to stop opening in app:

1. Go to mobile Settings

2. In Search >> type "Opening links" and double click to open

3. On next page >> from the listed apps >> click SAP Concur 

4. Enable "Open supported links" option.

5. Done.

Now open SAP Concur app, it will not open in app. It should be redirected to browser. 

Regarding the reason why you use browser in mobile to access Concur, I think now you can start using Concur mobile app directly as delegate functionality is now supported in Concur mobile app. These were the new changes from the last year release which you might not be aware of. But you can try using now.

@PoojaKumatkar delegates cannot submit reports using the mobile app at this time, so your solution about how to prevent app from opening when signing in with a browser is what @frankie_p will need to do.
