Attendees & Delegation

Has anyone noticed recent changes to how attendees can be viewed/added while acting as a delegate?

Previously, users could create attendees in their own profile and then view/add those same attendees to an expense when acting as a delegate. Within the last few days, this functionality seems to have disappeared.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is this an intention change or is this a system setting?

@ewilkins Are the attendees being created as Business Guests or Employees? 

I'm asking because I've been at SAP Concur over 17 years and I don't recall ever seeing the option to create attendees in my own profile then see them when acting as a delegate. Are you saying that you would see your own list of Attendees and all the attendees the other person has created? 

My question would be if I'm acting as a delegate, wouldn't I want to see the list of attendees the person for whom I'm acting on behalf of has created and not my own list? Also, in all other aspects of acting as a delegate, you only see the other person's details and not your own, so I'm not sure why attendees would be different. 

I'm going to do some digging around. I will admit if I'm wrong, but this seems like something I would have come across in my 17 years. 🙂

The attendees are being created as business guests, not as employees. They are being created using any other attendee type other than system employees.

If I create an attendee in my profile, when I act as a delegate for someone else, I’ve always been able to search and add the attendee. In the last few days, any new attendee I have created in my profile I can’t see/add to an expense when acting as a delegate. I can see past attendees that I’ve created, but not newly created attendees unless I share an attendee group with those attendees in it.

It’s more of a convenience for delegates so they aren’t creating an attendee multiple times – once in their own profile and again when acting as a delegate.

@ewilkins let's try something. Send me a private message with the name of the person you are acting for and the name of the attendee you are trying to search for when acting as a delegate. I'll see if I have the same experience or not. 🙂
