Advanced Configuration Training - Test-Out Option

Hi everyone,

Have you done the Advanced Configuration Training - Test-Out Option exam? I understand this is an alternative to the ACT course to get unrestricted expense configuration admin access when you move to a different company (and cheaper too).

If you've done it, appreciate if you could share your experience.

Thanks!

Rafael

Hi @karenrosenthal

Not Kevin, but I know him well, and I have been heavily involved in the process over the past couple of years. A new process was launched earlier this year. Essentially, we went from the ACT model to a more traditional certification model. More information can be found here with links to the current training materials (free to access) and the certification exam (there is a cost to take).

In a nutshell, once certified, the credential stays with you, just like any other professional certification.

@rmoura if you feel you have the experience, you can opt to take the exam and bypass the class. However, if someone does sign up for the class, I believe they still need to pass the exam. Just wanted to make sure people know this. 🙂

Thank you,

Hi Kevin,

Where would I go to take the opt out test or sign up for it? I am current an admin with unrestricted access for last 8 years , but I am looking to move on and would like to know how I would go about taking the test instead of the course again ?
