SAP Cloud Identity Services has introduced enhancements that simplify and automate Identity Authentication Service (IAS) configurations. This means customers no longer have to manually set up IAS. In addition, you'll have the flexibility to choose your preferred IAS tenant for integrations with Concur, Joule, MDI, SAP Grow, and Business Suite, as well as future integrations.
We've heard your feedback: managing IAS configurations manually can be challenging, especially when multiple SAP Cloud Identity services (SCI) tenants are used. By automating the process, configurations will be more transparent, have better error handling, and be more flexible.
Available as of September 29, 2025, here are the key benefits customers can expect:
These enhancements apply to customers using both Concur and SAP products.
This update covers SAP Concur, excluding Travel-only customers, and is available for Standard and Professional editions.
There will be no downtime, and existing SSO configurations will not be impacted.
The automated IAS feature was made available on September 29, 2025. Please see the Release Notes for more information about using the Submit Request button to initiate the Identity Authentication Services automation.
