Explore the latest enhancements in SAP Cloud Identity Services, including automated IAS setup and multi-tenant flexibility. Learn how these updates improve user experience and streamline configurations.

SAP Cloud Identity Services has introduced enhancements that simplify and automate Identity Authentication Service (IAS) configurations. This means customers no longer have to manually set up IAS. In addition, you'll have the flexibility to choose your preferred IAS tenant for integrations with Concur, Joule, MDI, SAP Grow, and Business Suite, as well as future integrations.

Why this change?

We've heard your feedback: managing IAS configurations manually can be challenging, especially when multiple SAP Cloud Identity services (SCI) tenants are used. By automating the process, configurations will be more transparent, have better error handling, and be more flexible.

What's in it for you?

Available as of September 29, 2025, here are the key benefits customers can expect:

  • Automatic IAS Setup: No more manual configurations required
  • Multi-Tenant Flexibility: Select the preferred IAS tenant with ease using a simple drop-down menu
  • Improved User Experience: Clear status updates, success & error messages, and IAS details (tenant name, URL) will be visible
  • Enhanced Support: Execution IDs will help our support team trace and resolve any issues quickly
  • Easy Initiation: New customers can initiate IAS setup with a simple 'Request' button

Who's eligible?

These enhancements apply to customers using both Concur and SAP products.

This update covers SAP Concur, excluding Travel-only customers, and is available for Standard and Professional editions.

There will be no downtime, and existing SSO configurations will not be impacted.
