Overview
SAP Concur is excited to announce the next phase of our new admin experience initiative for Travel Policy management. Phase 2 introduces powerful new features including AI-assisted policy rule generation, designed to simplify, automate, and modernize the way administrators manage travel policies. These enhancements help you save time, reduce errors, and ensure your travel policies are always up to date.
What is changing?
- AI-assisted policy rule generation: Enter your travel policy text and let AI automatically generate corresponding policy rules (up to 5,000 characters per session).
- Multi-step workflow: Review, assign rule classes, map violation reasons, and finalize rules in a guided process.
- Collaborative sessions: Multiple administrators can work together in real time.
- Editable output: Review, edit, or delete generated rules before activation.
- Bulk editing: Update multiple rules at once for greater efficiency.
- Rule class duplication: Quickly create new rule classes based on existing ones, including all rules and metadata.
- Divisional Administration: Restrict what each travel administrator can see and manage based on their assigned division or organizational unit.
Why is this change occurring?
This aligns with SAP’s strategic direction to modernize the SAP Concur Admin experience. By leveraging AI and a next-generation user interface, we’re making travel policy management faster, more accurate, and less effort-intensive. The goal is to empower administrators to work more efficiently, reduce manual errors, and strengthen policy compliance.
