Innovations That Support Global Business Needs

SAP Concur is committed to supporting the business needs of our customers in all regions. Here are some recent examples of product innovations that help customers – and travelers – around the world.

China: Support for Fapiao open fixed-layout document (OFD) format

Concur Expense now supports the open fixed-layout document (OFD) format - a new format of electronic document sponsored and developed by the Chinese government and required to provide a compliant solution.

EMEA: Integrated booking data for customers using the ehotel corporate booking tool

Customers who partner with ehotel for hotel bookings – and book directly on their portal – have travel and expense data automatically integrated into SAP Concur solutions.

Japan: e-Bunsho support for ExpenseIt

For customers who use ExpenseIt, relevant tax documentation is confirmed and stored for the Japanese e-Bunsho regulations. This improvement enables compliance with Japan's e-Bunsho requirements for receipts captured through ExpenseIt.

Germany: German benefit-in-kind tax report

For administrators of German companies, a new standard report provides visibility into employee travel allowance expenses that meet the benefit-in-kind scenarios. The report meets tax documentation and regulatory reporting requirements. Administrators can access this report in the Standard Reports > Market Specific Reports folder.

Poland: Travel allowance with automated rates

A new feature of Concur Expense – that integrates with Concur Request - supports self-updating travel allowance rates and rules for travelers to Poland.

Spain: General availability of content from Spain's national rail carrier, Renfe

A new direct connection between the online booking tool in Concur Travel and Spanish rail content offered by national rail carrier allows users to shop, book, and see corporate rates and policies associated with Renfe tickets on desktop and mobile devices. Administrators can create new rail policies for Spanish rail, and travelers can select their seats on a dynamic seat map (available on both web and mobile).
