SAP Concur is introducing an enhanced cookie consent experience, providing users with more transparency and greater control over the types of cookies used during their sessions. Beginning September 28, 2026, users can individually manage cookie preferences by category.
Overview
SAP Concur is enhancing the cookie consent experience on concursolutions.com to give users greater transparency and more granular control over their cookie preferences. The new experience, powered by TrustArc, enhances the existing cookie consent model by introducing individual cookie-level controls alongside category-level management. Users can still accept or decline an entire cookie category at once or go further and choose individual cookies within each category for more precise control.
With this update, users can choose which cookie categories to accept — Functional and/or Advertising — rather than accepting or rejecting all optional cookies as a single group. Preferences can be reviewed and updated at any time from within the SAP Concur product.
Why is this change occurring?
SAP Concur is committed to respecting user privacy and providing transparency about how data is collected and used. This update introduces a more flexible and informative cookie consent experience that empowers users to make individual choices about their preferences.
By adding individual cookie-level controls as an enhancement to the existing category-level consent model, SAP Concur gives users the ability to accept only the cookies that are relevant to their needs.
What is changing?
- New cookie consent banner: Users who access concursolutions.com without previously saved cookie preferences will see a consent banner prompting them to set their preferences. Users with existing preferences will not be prompted again — their previous preferences are automatically carried forward.
- Granular cookie controls: Cookie preferences are now managed at the category level
- Required cookies — Always Active. These cookies are necessary for the system to function and cannot be disabled.
- Functional cookies — Optional. These cookies enable features such as Interactive Help, Co-Browsing Session, Chat with a Live Agent, distance-based mileage calculation, and more. Declining functional cookies will cause the related features not to work.
- Advertising cookies — Optional. These cookies help SAP recognize that you are an existing customer and avoid displaying redundant ads to users who already use SAP Concur products.
- Self-service preference management: Cookie preferences can be reviewed and updated at any time by navigating to Profile > Legal Information > Cookie Preferences.

- September 28, 2026: Enhanced cookie consent experience goes live for customers in the EU2 and APJ1 data centers.
- September 29, 2026: Enhanced cookie consent experience goes live for customers in the US2 data center.
- October 8, 2026: Enhanced cookie consent experience goes live for customers in the Concur Cloud for Public Sector data center.
