Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for SAP Concur Sign In
To enhance the security of all SAP Concur users, SAP Concur began implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA) for users who sign in to SAP Concur solutions with a Concur username and password. Implementation is taking place in two phases.

•Phase 1 – October 18, 2023: All users can set up 2FA during the sign in process without adding a valid email address. Although a valid email address is not required at this time, we recommend you encourage your users to add a valid email address before phase 2 begins.
•Phase 2 – November 15, 2023: Users who have not setup 2FA during the sign in process must setup 2FA via a link sent to their valid email address.

For additional information and details on how to setup 2FA, please view the release notes, FAQ, and Setup Guide.

Sign In Settings
To simplify the process for setting sign in policies, SAP Concur began implementation of a new Sign In Settings page available to SAP Concur administrators. On the new Sign In Settings page, you can define the login policy for your SAP Concur solution. Implementation is taking place in two phases.

•Phase 1 – October 18, 2023: The Sign In Settings page is available with default settings.
•Phase 2 – November 15, 2023: Default settings become the minimum password requirements for users who sign into their SAP Concur solution with a Concur username and password.

For more information and instructions on how to configure the sign in policy for your SAP Concur solutions, please visit the release notes and FAQ.

SAP Fiori with Horizon Theme on the Web
To improve the overall customer experience, better support accessibility features, and help provide a seamless experience across all SAP products, SAP Concur began adopting the SAP Fiori with Horizon visual design theme family on the web in May 2023.

Currently, the SAP Fiori with Horizon theme is now the default theme* for your SAP Concur solution. However, you may still revert back to the legacy Concur Gateway theme, if necessary, until the legacy Concur Gateway theme is decommissioned in April 2024.

This SAP Fiori with Horizon theme is enabled as the default theme automatically; no configuration or activation is required.

For more information, including FAQs, please visit SAP Concur Training Resource Center for Administrators and the SAP Concur Community.

*For customers with Budget, SAP Fiori with Horizon will become the default theme on January 8, 2024

Concur Expense
FEATURE SERVICE

Payment Card Integration Service
To ensure fast, reliable, and secure data exchange of banking information, the Payment Card Integration service is now available. The new service uses the SAP Concur App Center to link corporate and business card types directly to the card functionality in Concur Expense – removing manual steps and details in authorization.

You can configure the Payment Card Integration service by identifying the participating partner bank in the SAP Concur App Center and then linking them to Concur Expense via the authorization steps.

Additional information and step-by-step guidance can be found in the release notes.

Concur Travel, Concur Expense, Concur Invoice, and Concur Request

NEW FEATURE

Run Now Button for Imports Jobs
To make it easier and more efficient for you to pull reports, SAP Concur enabled a Run Now button, available on the Import/Extract page, to enable you to run import jobs on demand without contacting SAP Concur for assistance.

This feature is enabled automatically. However, you may need to take steps to prepare your system for the import before clicking Run Now. For example, if the import contains new field data, you may need to confirm the new fields in the system before importing the data.

For details, please view the release notes.
