I completed the Configuration certification training (4 day onsite course) this past summer at their training location in Chicago. I did not take the certification test since I have no plans to leave my current company.
At the end of the last day, the Concur trainer turned on the unrestricted expense admin access for everyone who completed the class. There wasn't any requirement for our Company to provide the okay to do so. Not sure if that process has changed or not.
It is a big time committment and a bit of a cost to the company, but I must say that it has helped immensely to have that training and unrestricted access as a Concur admin.
