Why is Kosovo not on the list of SAP Concur?

Hi SAP Concur Community,

I cannot add my passport to my profile because my home country, The Republic of Kosovo, is not listed there.
I would kindly ask you to add it.

Hi @Vjosa ,

Concur follows the UN list of countries. Kosovo is not part of the official UN list as it is not recognized by the UN as a country.

Normally, Concur will have cities named Kosovo and Pristina that users are expected to use instead.

Thank you for your answer! I have a couple of follow-up questions.

Firstly, since you said Concur follows the official UN list, I am curious to know why some countries, for instance Taiwan, are included in the list despite not being recognized by the UN.
Secondly, I am having trouble understanding how Kosovo is listed as a city in Concur. How am I supposed to use Kosovo as a city when I'm about to add my passport and it requires the issuing country?
