@abittinger to better help I have a couple of questions for you:

1. Do you have Cognos reporting permissions? 

2. If the answer to my first question is Yes, what would you say your Cognos experience level is on a scale of 1-10. 1 being "what is Cognos" to 10 being "I can build Cognos reports in my sleep"

If you answer No to my first question, that is the first thing you would need to get. If your answer to my second question is anything below 5, then I have an answer that will be more of a long term solution for you.
