Concur CIP for Expense and Request

I took the Advanced Configuration for Expense and then Request, with the test at the end of both.  My company is not a CIP company but they paid for it.  Can I get the CIP License?  Does it still exist?  If so, I passed both tests, can I get the Certification that I can take to other companies?

@tonitke individuals are not granted CIP licenses. You would need to work for one of our CIP partners to get this. Keep in mind that your advanced configuration access does not follow you if you move to a new company.

Hi Kevin,

Concur used to give a license, I am assuming this is no longer given.  So how does someone go about becoming CIP certified or become a CIP partner?  Since I was required to take and pass a test, the same test they used to give for the license, I guess that no longer applies?  Is SAP going to open this back up as part of their certification training since it is moving to the SAP training side?  Just wondering, with all the layoffs in the tech industry, one needs to make sure they are as up to license or speed as possible.  What is offered other than the CIP partnership and how can a small company get that?

@tonitke we used to offer a certification that would follow the user from company to company. That went away at the beginning of 2024. I don't know what the process is for a company to become one of our CIPs, but I can reach out to our partner team to see what the qualifications/requirements are for a company to become a CIP. 

We don't offer anything other than our Advanced Configuration class to get you full site access, but it would only be for the company you currently work for. However, if you pass the test once, you should be able to pass it again fairly easily. If you were to move to a different company, you don't have to take the Advanced Configuration class again, you can simply opt to take the test. Most companies would likely pay the test fee for their employee to become certified in Advanced Configuration.
