Change management for Concur business rule configurations

Can anyone share how they maintain change management controls over SAP Concur business rule configurations?

I am aware that Concur provides a Change Log; however, the information is limited. It generally shows only the updated value and does not clearly capture the previous value, making it difficult to demonstrate what changed and support a complete audit trail.

@cchris04 that is a good question. One thing I would suggest is limiting the number of people who can make site changes otherwise the old adage, "too many cooks in the kitchen" comes into play and you changes get lost and people forget who changed what. 

Since our Change Log is a bit limited, if I were working on this, I would have a shared spreadsheet where people can enter the changes they make. Maybe post it on a SharePoint site or some other internal document sharing option. 

Also, you could use Cognos reporting to build a report that you could run to see the changes. However, it looks similar to what the change log shows. See below.
