Consulting Session ideas?

I'm the expense and travel admin for Concur at a small nonprofit with about 75 expense users and approximately 200k in monthly expense spend. I've attended Fusion a handful of times, and I feel like I never get the most out of my consulting sessions. Can anyone share some examples of really helpful consulting sessions they've had so I can get some ideas of how to best use the time? Thanks!

@GraceF

This month will be my second time heading to Fusion, and I could not be more excited! I work for a large non-profit with over 17,000 employees, and my role centers around managing our corporate card program in Concur Expense and making sure everything follows our policies and procedures.

We were running into a big challenge: some people were not consistently attaching receipts, and we did not have a solid way to track or report on the issue. But during our consulting session at Fusion, everything changed.

Together, we were able to:

  • Activate the Missing Receipt Declaration
  • Create an audit rule requiring at least a 10‑character comment anytime someone uses the declaration
  • Enable the Confirmation Agreement so both the submitter and the approver attest that the expenses are business‑related and understand that the activity will be monitored
  • Build a custom Concur Intelligence/Cognos report to track who used the Missing Receipt Declaration and what their comments were

This combination was a total game changer for our auditors and approvers. It gave us visibility, accountability, and a much smoother process overall.

I cannot wait to learn even more at Fusion this year and keep improving how we support our teams!
