We are interested in understanding whether there is a way to create an app integration between SAP Concur and Christopherson Travel.

I understand that Christopherson is a Concur travel partner; however, I do not see Christopherson listed within the App Center / App Integration options.

Specifically, we would like to know if Christopherson-issued travel itineraries can be automatically delivered to the Concur user's account in a manner similar to how e-receipts are handled through other integrated providers.

Example: Our organization has enabled the integration between Concur and Amazon Business.

Users highly value the experience because Amazon e-receipts are automatically imported into Concur and matched to the corresponding corporate card transactions.

Hi @TammyK ,

Christopherson Business Travel (CBT) is a TMC partner with SAP Concur. If a trip is booked within SAP Concur directly, or with a CBT agent, those itineraries should flow to the user's Concur profile automatically - no App Center partner needed. This is the normal process as long as CBT has PNR Acquisition enabled.

For trips that are booked completely outside of the Concur channel, those could be captured using Concur TripLink if the booking was with a supported partner. For any other itineraries that may exist in CBT but aren't already captured in Concur, you may be able to work directly with CBT to have them leverage our itinerary APIs to push those trips to Concur.

Thank you. I will have our internal travel specialist contact Christopherson. We have been using Christopherson to book the actual trips for the last 25 years because we have saved millions in travel costs from the discounts received by using CBT. However, we do use Concur Request to submit the pre-travel approval/request.

Hi @TammyK ,

Are you using Concur Travel + Integrated Request, or are you using Request independent of Concur Travel and booking using Christopherson directly? My original response above was going on the assumption that you're using Concur Travel with CBT as the TMC.

If you're not using Concur Travel, that changes my answer. Any third party can use the Itinerary APIs to retrieve trip data from Concur, but only certified TMCs can use these APIs to post trip data to Concur. While CBT is a certified TMC, I'm not sure if they would be able to access those APIs if you're not also using Travel - I would reach out to your Christopherson contact to confirm, as you said.

However, you can still use TripLink without using Concur Travel. TripLink bundles a subscription to TripIt Pro for all of your users. Once users create their TripIt Pro account, they can forward their itineraries to [email protected], and TripIt will then sync the itinerary to Concur.

Hi Michael,

We are using Concur Request independent of Concur Travel and our two travel specialists book trips using Christopherson and another system for flights.

We wanted the receipt (aka Christopherson Itinerary) to show up in the user's Concur account, same way the Amazon E-receipts do.

We use the itinerary as the receipt for the Travelers Airfare. Also, the itinerary is a required document for all travel expense reports.

Hi all,

I'm searching for a Concur partner that can integrate D365 F&O with Concur on an API tech for these flows :

- Org Structure from D365 F&O to Concur

- Expense from Concur to D365 F&O

- Payment from D365 F&O to Concur

I found out that DAG (present on the Concur app center) does flow 2 and 3 and are willing to cobuild flow 1 with us

I've contacted all other D365 Concur app Center partners with very very low replies.

Does anyone have a magic partner they'd like to share ? OR did you make this integration home built?

Thank you for sharing this. Great question, and it’s a use case we see fairly often with D365 F&O clients.

If you’re not finding a partner that covers all three flows out of the box, SAP Concur has an internal team that can help: Managed Integration & Automation Services (MIAS). MIAS builds custom integrations hosted on the MIAS SAP BTP platform, specifically for scenarios where no App Center partner covers the full scope or where the required functionality goes beyond what existing connectors offer.

For your three flows, the custom connector can support:

Org Structure / Employee Data: D365 F&O → Concur (Employee Import connector)
Expense Extract: Concur → D365 F&O (Financial Extract connector via FIS v4)
Payment Confirmation: D365 F&O → Concur (Payment Import connector or Export Connector)

All three flows would be scoped, built, and supported by SAP Concur, with no dependency on a third-party implementation partner.

Yes, SAP Concur offers options for integrating with ERP systems that are not listed in the App Center.

Depending on your technical resources and requirements, there are two main approaches:

Client Web Services: SAP Concur's open API framework, which allows your internal development team or a partner of your choice to build and manage the integration directly using SAP Concur's published APIs.

Managed Integration & Automation Services (MIAS): SAP Concur's internal team that builds, hosts, and supports custom integrations on SAP Business Technology Platform on your behalf. This option is designed for scenarios where no App Center partner covers the full scope, where the required functionality goes beyond what existing connectors offer, or where the client does not have the development resources or bandwidth available to build and maintain the integration internally.

MIAS supports both scheduled and event-driven integration patterns, so the right approach will depend on your specific use case and the capabilities of your ERP's API.

Regarding e-invoicing compliance, SAP Concur also offers a Document and Reporting Compliance(DRC) solution designed to address fiscal and regulatory requirements for electronic invoicing. This includes inbound and outbound document validation, submission to tax authorities, and support for country-specific compliance requirements across France, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, and other countries.

For more complex scenarios, such as connecting Concur to a local ERP or fiscal middleware already in your landscape, MIAS can also build a custom integration to connect Concur with your existing compliance infrastructure.

Can SAP Concur Joule AI be used for audit / integrating with other Agentic AI/MCP, or is it only for the user submitting expenses/asking questions?

Currently, Joule for Concur only supports the use cases documented here:

So, it cannot be integrated with other agents or MCPs or do custom auditing. The Expense Report Validation Agent does some light auditing of reports prior to submission. If you're using ExpenseIt, it also received a new feature called Receipt Analysis Agent , which leverages Joule agentic AI to improve the receipt capture data.

Looking to the future, we're watching the SAP Agent2Agent space. Joule for Concur is not yet available to connect to A2A, but once it becomes available, this will likely be the best path to extend the functionality.

No, Concur Invoice is not currently supported using ICS for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. It is supported for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud. You can reference the Feature List guide for a complete list of supported functionality.
