Warning / Alert Messages

Hi All,

Our company is rolling out Concur Travel this year. Our TMC is currently working on the configuration of our travel site. One of the items we needed was the alert or the warning messages to pop up when employees select flights/car rental/accommodation that may not permitted in the ordinary course but can be booked in exceptional circumstances.

The TMC mentioned that these warning messages are non-customizable. I wanted to ask the forum members if this is indeed the right message.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and support.

Regards,

Harsha

@Harsha ask your TMC about using the option I mentioned. I believe the Display Message is something you can customize.

@Harsha The way that out of policy rule is set up, is that it will Log For Reports, which means a reason must be selected and is not optional.

@Harsha You might be talking about Rule Violation codes which are set up provided by the TMC.  TMC's usually have consistency and determines what violation codes and the verbiage behind those codes that are used.

@Harsha there is also the option to display message using Travel Rules. This might be a good option.

Hi @TriciaW and @KevinD,

Thank you for your responses. Is there a way to set up these alert messages without triggering the violation/reason codes. Please see the screenshot below:

According to our TMC, verbiage before "Log For Reports" is not customizable and also requires a reason code to be selected. I was wondering if this message from our TMC is correct.

We want to keep the warning/alert message but do not want the reason code to be selected.

@KevinD - I am not familiar with Travel Rules as I do not have administration rights for our travel site. All configurations are being done by the TMC.

Regards,

Harsha
