Travel Approval Request Not Approved, Resubmitted, Rejected (Past Date)

I received a verbal approval and then submitted a travel approval request in Concur on 3/7/2023. Yesterday, I saw a red alert on this request. It was pending my manager approval. I resubmitted this request to obtain manager's approval, however, it was rejected because the departure date is now past due. What do I do now?

@ktbrodeur when you say "rejected" do you mean you were not able to submit or it was submitted, but the approver returned it because of the past date? 

I would say you could change the date to get it to go through (if it isn't letting you submit), but I would get approval from your manager before trying that.
