Modify a request in Concur after it has started routing for approval. Recall button???

How can I modify a request once 1 of 3 approvals has already been received?  I found out that I need to add a hotel because there is now no availability at my work location.  Can I use the Recall button?  If I use the Recall button, will I lose my flights/seats from the original request?  It took a lot of coordination to align my seats with my wife's, who is traveling on our return flights with me.  Her flights are already purchased at my expense, so changing flights/seats is not an option.

@US12751 Travel Requests are usually just a trip pre-approval. Changes to the request should not affect an already booked and ticketed airfare. 

Although a travel request can be generated from a travel booking in Concur travel and vice versa, the request is just an approval to book and to show the estimated amount of the trip.
