International travel insurance

I'm a student at OSU veterinary school and I'll be traveling to Ecuador on August 27th for a educational trip. Please let me know how I can get a travel insurance

@elmiusrf why do you need travel insurance? Isn't this trip being sponsored by the University? You would be better off calling the University's travel agency and asking them about it.

I've traveled several times for work and not once ever needed travel insurance. I've traveled internationally probably a dozen times for work. Never bought travel insurance.

Yes, I was surprised as well with this requirement. But this is a vet student project but NOT paid for by the university. This is student-funded and the school in Ecuador requires it from all international students coming to their school or participating in their events.
