Hotel booking error but charged no show by hotel



I have a user who made several attempts to book a hotel but was consistently met with a 'booking was not successful' message. He never received any confirmation and the trips are not showing in his Trip Library (even under withdrawn bookings).

He has now been charged four no show fees by the hotel. I have checked with our TMC and they cannot see any PNR’s for these hotels. 

We will dispute the charges but wanted to know if this is a known issue?

@swick73 I've not seen any other posts about this issue. It is very odd that a booking would go through to the hotel without your Travel Agency having any record of it. The Travel Agency is the one who finalizes all bookings, so this is very odd.


I suggest submitting a help ticket to Concur Support and have them look into it.
