Hotel Rates Too High

Why are the concur hotel rates so high?

I'm booking a room at the Hampton-Reston for $199 in concur and my personal rate would be $157? Shouldn't cisco be getting better rates than I can book on my personal account?

@wjonesii without knowing what Cisco's agreements with hotels are, we cannot really say what rate you should be getting is.

Here are a couple things to keep in mind:

1. The hotel rates are not Concur rates. Concur Travel shows what the available rates published by the hotel are. 

2. Sometimes the rate shown in SAP Concur is higher, but it might include some amenities that the lower rates do not. For example, breakfast or onsite parking might be included. Possibly the rate comes with Wi-Fi. 

So, maybe look at the personal rate you found and see what all comes with that rate and then look at the $199 rate and see if there are other amenities with that rate.
