@mariamaadanian actually, you should not be required to add hotel and car. When you book a just a flight, the system will pop up a message that says the booking doesn't have a hotel or car and would you like to add it. You can click No or Cancel on the pop-up message.
Are you experiencing something else? If so, could you please take a screenshot of what you see?
