Due to a recent power outage I was trying to secure a hotel room for a couple days. Unfortunately I was trying to do this on my phone and didn't see the prompts that further action was needed to secure the booking and I found out it automatically cancelled overnight. I thought no harm no foul and proceeded to book at a different hotel. The problem is that I received a charge for one night from the first hotel that I didn't even finish booking. Was this correct and where should I go to get my money back?
@mellwhead I would start with the hotel to see if they can reverse the charge. Hopefully they will. If not, call your card company and explain the situation.
