Change Credit Card on Booked Flight

I recently booked a flight through Concur on a company card that is no longer active. I've received a new company card since then and need to change my flight to be booked on this card vs. the other, expired card, to make sure my flight is actually booked and when I show up to the airport, I have a ticket.

Does anyone know how to change the credit card used on a booked flight?

@jules_ did the transaction on the corporate card (the no longer active one) feed into SAP Concur and did you submit the expense? Usually when you book a flight, the airfare is paid for that same day, so the purchase should have already been made on the old card. How long after you booked the flight did the card become inactive? 

 

Also, if you booked your flight using SAP Concur Travel, you should be able to see if the Airfare has been ticketed. Are you using Concur Travel?

Hi Kevin, I have the same issue. I am using Concur Travel, the tickets have not been issued yet (they will at midnight tonight) and the old card has been inactive for several months. Not sure how it was charged to the card as it was not in my profile. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also booked hotels on the old card

@KNW where did you see it was booked using the old card?

 

I would suggest calling your company's travel agency as they are the ones who get the reservation ticketed. They could see which card is being used for the actual purchase.

 

Also, very odd that a card no longer on your profile would have been used. Maybe the Travel agency still has it on file for some reason. I would check with them. Can you let me know what they say, please?

@KevinD the travel agency was able to adjust the flight booking, but not the hotel reservations (assuming I can just present them with working card at check in). Not sure how the other card was still charged as they only had the one current card on profile as well.

@KNW yes, you should be able to give the hotel the correct card at check in.
