non-gds never request approval

Is it still not possible to create rules to request approval for non-GDS hotels? Since my implementation in 2020, a solution hasn't been found.

Specifically, when I'm outside the policy, I complete the reason code, but the approver receives it as a notification.

I've tried many rules, but there's no solution.

Is it a fact that this isn't possible in Travel 1?

@TECO2024 I want to preface my response by saying I have not tested this, but it sounds like it should work. Try creating a new Travel Rule for Hotel and use one or both of the following conditions. 

I'm not sure which GDS you use, so you may have to create multiple rules for the Hotel rate is not from source condition as only one GDS can be selected in the rule. So, you would need one rule for each GDS that your company uses. When activating the rule, you would select Requires Approval. You can give this a try and see if it works. 

The logic seems sound, but again...I've not tested this myself.
