Travel UI updated?

Anyone experiencing a different UI today after logging in?

We have been on new Travel (2) since January but this morning our system looks to have been updated overnight and our Travel UI looks more like the old version.

We have reached out to our TMC and Concur support but wanted to check if the issue is affecting other users?

Concur changes things without announcement all the time. We are still on the old UI but one day-boom-our rail looked like "T2" with no announcement or anything. We are holding off on going to T2 entirely because we've heard some terrible things about it.

@TheDavid our communication for Travel changes goes out to TMCs and to those listed as Authorized Support Contacts. Many times people mention they were not informed, but then it turns our they are not an Authorized Support Contact. I checked your profile and you are not listed as an Authorized Support Contact, so that would account for you personally not being notified of changes. Maybe someone at your company did receive the notice, but didn't pass on the information? 🙂

Thank you,

Not sure why our TMC isn't letting us know about these things then. Maybe I can get on that list you're talking about since I'm a Concur Travel admin.

@TheDavid I'm not sure who at your company can add you, but anyone who can access your profile using the Company Admin>User Administration page should be able to do this.

I can confirm that T2 has not been a pleasant experience. We were launching Travel as a new product for our company, and were advised to go straight to T2 because it has Ryanair integration (we are Europe based and use Ryanair heavily). We were not prepared for the amount of error messaging that would appear across any and all bookings. We are managing it now but it took 3.5 months to get it stable. The error messaging in the system is completely lacking any helpful information and leaves the end user in the abyss the majority of the time.

Our arrangers don't like the old Concur nevermind the new one god knows what will happen. I did sit down with two power users and go over the new interface (I have it on my system as a test user) and it didn't seem so bad. They just took out a lot of information our arrangers need to make decisions. Our arrangers are power users almost like travel agents so they need certain codes, etc. They should really bave a basic and pro toggle switch and pro would provide more info. They'll never do that! Concur Travel seems like crap built upon crap upon crap.

Hi Kevin,

yes, please see attached. What's even more curious is that it reverted to the new UI that we are used to about an hour after we noticed the issue but without us refreshing or logging back in. It just happened out of nowhere.UI Change 2.pngUI change 1.png

@shigginskirby that is strange. I know that I received an alert about Concur Travel in the European Data center having an issue yesterday, so maybe it was related to that.
