Marriott Bonvoy Points

I recently traveled, staying at a Marriott property.  I have my Marriott Bonvoy number attached to my Concur profile.  However, I did not receive points for this stay and it is not showing on my Marriott account.  When I inquired about this through Marriott, I learned this:  "Marriott properties booked through your company site, Concur, will be treated as a 3rd party vendor like, Priceline, Booking, Expedia, Priceline, etc...  Reservations made this way, will not be eligible for points and no elite night credits will be issued.  To avoid this, all reservations must be made directly through Marriott."

When did this change occur?  This totally upset me, as I could have received points at Hilton, if Marriott is no longer providing points made through company reservations/Concur

Hello,

I'm following this thread because I am not aware of any changes made that would prevent people from getting their Bonvoy points for properties booked in Concur.  Some companies enable third party content to be pulled in (Priceline, Booking, Expedia).  You will typically see a logo or mention of this prior to booking.  When THOSE rates are booked, a traveler is not eligible for points but I don't think you were given accurate information about all of Concur being treated as a third party site like the other OTA's.

@DaenonLWB I feel that this would have been a somewhat major announcement. I still have my Marriott number on my travel profile. I'm sure if no longer receiving Marriott points for bookings made in Concur was a for sure thing, I would have removed my number.

I'm asking internally about this. @tracyh312 makes a good point about third-party content, so that could be what happened.

Thank you,
Kevin
