Heads-Up Major Changes with T2?

Hello! We are set to change over to Concur T2 later this month. We are being told there's no trainings that include live use of the tool (that seems odd) and our TMC reps don't have access to the new tool until we do. This seems unusual too. Did anyone get trainings from Concur?  Also, any major heads-up in terms of changes to the interface? Our arrangers get used to certain layouts and can get really annoyed by changes. Any heads up would be great.

Hi, our canadian partner sent me information on T2. I was just at the Concur conference in Seattle where they shared great information. the TMC should be able to access it.. We are on worldspan and wont be transitioning until end of year until the work out the bugs. Feel free to reach out to me. I can see what product information I can provide for you.

Hello,

My company is already on T2 and there are certainly changes, some of which make absolutely no sense to me.  I attended Concur Fusion as well as a consulting session and walked away with no real good information to bring back to my team. They talk about their training library and to utilize what they have already built for end-users.  This is great but when asked if the training speaks to the new UI, I was told 'not yet'.  Not sure what they are waiting for.  Here are just a few of the the things that are a pain point for me and my travelers:

  • T2 does not integrate with Cvent.  If you use Cvent, users will see the legacy Concur until that integration is built.
  • When entering your search parameters, there used to be  check box to add car and add hotel before the search starts.  The hotel button is still there but car has been removed and users can't add a car until they get to the end of the booking.  I asked why and was not given an answer.
  • You can no longer search by flight number.  A lot of our EA's like this feature when trying to match flights with other travelers.  
  • You need to use filters and manipulation to get Concur to show you what you're looking for.  The booking process was supposed to be shorter with less clicks, it's now more.

Those are just a few off the top of my  head.  I think Concur rushed to market with this and there is still a lot of work that needs to be done in my opinion.
