Concur TripLink connection to Lufthansa failed

hi team,

I've tried to add my Lufthansa account to Concur but it always fails. The Concur account contains a special character in my last name (Koči) but in Lufthansa those local characters are not allowed, so they replaced it with plain English alphabet (Koci). I called their helpline and they confirmed all names have to be spelled in English so no chance to get it updated there. Please let me know if there's a way to link those accounts somehow.

Connection Status: Error

Notifications: Check Your Last Name. We couldn’t connect your account to Lufthansa German Airlines. Please ensure your last name matches on both accounts and try again.

@pkoci if the last name on your Concur Profile doesn't match what is on the Lufthansa website, then I believe the error will persist. Can you get your Concur profile updated so it doesn't contain the special character?

hi Kevin, thanks for feedback. Unfortunately the Concur profile can't be changed, it's linked with my company profile and that has my legal name including special character, as it stands in government-issued ID.

@pkoci Well, since Lufthansa doesn't allow special characters, I'm not sure there is a solution, unfortunately.
