Company Admin Looking for Solution for Setting Travel Thresholds

Does Concur offer a way we can put any kind of thresholds on travel before booking (ie. “domestic flights over $500” or “international flights over $3000” etc. would trigger the need for manager approval)?

Hello @wcarr3

Within the Request module, it is possible to configure approval workflows based on cost thresholds. For example, if the estimated amount exceeds a predefined limit, the system can automatically route the request for validation by the designated approver, the department director, or even the CEO, depending on the approval hierarchy established in your policy settings.

@cjmarimo true, but if they don't have Request, then they need to use the Travel Rule Builder which allows them to create a rule that says If Airfare is Greater than $500, then require approval. That is a generic example of a rule, but I think you get what I mean. 🙂

@wcarr3 if you have access to Travel Admin>Rule Builder you can certainly require approval for airfare with the limits you mentioned.

Do you know if you have access to this?

I don't currently have access to travel admin>rule builder. I see travel allowance & config nor the request module. Whom would I need to contact for that access to begin the process?
