Booking flight / Request Expense

I booked my flight first and then I submitted the authorization request of this - does it still work?, or do I need first to submit the authorization request and then book the flight?

@elp-robertor If you were able to complete the flight booking, then it isn't required to have the approved authorization request first. Usually if an authorization request is required, you wouldn't have been able to complete the flight booking. 

However, not all companies use the authorization/travel request in the same way but if a company doesn't want you booking prior to getting pre-approval, I'm sure they would have configured the site that way.
