Airfare must be ticketed by

I have this flight ready to be finalized in Concur.

The note, highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below, says this ticket must be purchased by 06/07/25 at 11:00 p.m. (tomorrow night). I've seen this before and have put many trips on hold for the approximate 24-hour period, but it used to be clear how this worked—of course, it's not now (why??).

What do I do next? Do I Finalize? If I finalize, will the next window allow me to put the flight on hold? I'm sorry, but I don't remember the next window that will pop up.

I don't think holding my flight is an option, so I'm confused about why the "Airfare must be ticketed by" note is even showing!

If holding the trip was a real option, wouldn't there be a third selection:

Finalize

Hold

Cancel

????

Sorry, replying to myself.

I found this PowerPoint slide that is helpful, though outdated. This is how it once worked with the "Airfare must be ticketed by" and "Hold Trip," but how do we know that Hold will be an option on the new version??

This is old b/c they changed the look/format but...

How do I know if the Hold Trip button, highlighted and circled in Red, will appear?

@mandrews78 not every flight you book will be eligible to be put on hold. If it is eligible, you would see it on the screen you provided under the Finalize and Cancel trip options. Whether a trip is eligible or not is determined by supplier support.

Thank you,

Even though "hold" is not an official option. As long as you have a record locator, it will likely still be held until the time limit shown, if you were to just ignore....  You might get some email about you having an incomplete trip that you should come back and finalize if you want the ticket.
