DOWNLOAD MULTI-LEVEL CUSTOM FIELD TEMPLATE (POPULATED)

When using the template to update and amend one of my Multi-Level custom fields the system used to download the template pre-populated. Now since, in total, the list exceeds 1000 items it just downloads a blank template screen. Anyone know how I can get this data downloaded, ideally in the same format as the template?

Hi @Aryeh2b , unfortunately, there isn't a way to get that out of Concur once you've reached the 1,000 record threshold. I recommend requesting the data from Concur Support.

Could you clarify which import template you’re referring to—is it for list import, vendor import, or something else?

Also, could you share a screenshot of where you’re attempting to download the template?

I'd love to know how you get a custom list template downloaded from List Management to populate existing data as mine are always blank.

Hi @Jim2W ,

Through list management, you won't be able to download/extract your list management data into template.

Download template option is only available to download the template which means it will be always blank. You need to populate your data manually and import it again if required.

In case if you want to extract list management data then you need to create a custom cognos report into reporting module and download it in excel file format. This is the only option to extract details from list management.

So, it turns out, if your custom list totals more than 1000 fields in aggregate, you just get a blank template. In order for me to get the download with the data I needed, I had to reach out to the reporting team and they created a custom report for me within Intelligence.
