We are in the USMA Marketing group, and I have a Sr. Director attending AMCP and will be attending a customer lunch hosted by the Account Team. She is asking if she is the Sr. person is she responsible to pay or should the account team since they are hosting? Otherwise, she could end up paying for a few if the Sr. person. Thanks for clarification as I could not find anything on this type of situation.
Found it! policy states: Meals among groups of Pfizer Colleagues should be kept to a minimum and limited to extended business discussions and group events such as team building. Meal expenses should be paid for and reported by the most senior level Colleague of the Division or group (e.g., WRD) or site (e.g., Groton) hosting the business meeting. For example, in the case of a Company executive visiting a site, it is acceptable for the site leader to pay for the business meal, even if that individual is not the most senior Pfizer Colleague in attendance. Exceptions are allowed for group meetings when it is more practical for the meeting organizer to pay for the meal (e.g., training sessions).
