Way to have a calculated field dynamically update in Cognos

I have a report on cash advances and I added a calculated field that calculates the days aging between the issued date and today. The issue is that I cannot use TODAY() in the expression; I have to remove the column and then re-add the calculated column to reflect the current (today's) date. Is there a way to add TODAY or something similar to the expression so it updates dynamically? I am using Query Studio in Cognos 11.

@csimon could you send me a screenshot of your expression, please? 

This might be something that needs to be done in Report Studio. I do know you can build an expression that is the Days between a date and the current date. So each time you run the report, it looks at today's date. I'm not sure this can be accomplished in Query Studio.

Hi Kevin, I was wondering if that was a report studio thing. Below is my expression. I would be nice if I could just manually update the date but I can't.
