VAT reclaim on personal car mileage

We are struggling to get the VAT reclaim on our personal car mileage calculated correctly.

We reimburse at 2 different rates (38p and 22p) but we assume the fuel amount for both is 18p (so wear and tear is 20p and 4p respectively).

So, we need VAT to be reclaimed just on the 18p gross - 18/120*20 = 3p per mile but getting to that point is a struggle.

Does anyone else have a similar set up that works?

@FredRob hello there. I recommend posting this in the Admin Group. This forum is more end user trafficked so you probably won't get a response. The Admin Group should have people that work with Car Configurations and/or VAT.
