UK tax return self assessment - annual report

In order to submit a UK tax return through self assessment, individuals need to be able to report on the total miles travelled in the tax year (6th April through 5th March) and the value of expenses paid for mileage, is it possible to extract this on a 12month date range? Thanks

@dody466 this is possible if you use Cognos reporting. Without Cognos reporting, a user would need to pull up their history of expense reports and look at the mileage entered on each one and add them all up.

It's important to keep track of your mileage and expenses to make sure you're reporting everything accurately. I'm not sure about extracting that information on a 12-month date range, but it's worth looking into. By the way, have you ever used a paycheck generator to create your own pay stubs? It's a really useful tool for keeping track of your income and deductions, especially if you're self-employed or have multiple sources of income.
