Tuition Reimbursement - can you enter a grade to determine % of cost to be reimbursed?

Hey there,

Here are the requirements we are looking for when it comes to being able to process our tuition reimbursement in concur. Anyone know if this is possible?

  • % of what is reimbursed is determined by the grade received (for example: 50% of tuition costs paid if B or higher, 25% if C and 0% if lower than C grade)
  • AND maximum limit of $5250/calendar year/employee (to be compliant with IRS Code 127)

Thanks!

@kmcfaul for the first bullet point, I spoke with someone and they believe this can be done. You would, however need two custom fields for this. Which means, unless you have full site access from completing our Advanced Configuration class, you would need to submit this to Concur Support.

For the second bullet point, you can create an audit rule for the Expense Type Tuition and use the Yearly total condition. How familiar are you with building audit rules?

Thank you,

Thanks, Kevin! I'll be reaching out to support for the first bullet point. As far as audit rules, I'm not all that familiar but just found a few resources you recently posted and feel confident I should be able to do it. Thanks again for the quick reply!
