They suggested the below work around for the same.
To resolve this error:
Modify the existing itinerary to add a row
Open the expense report
Click Travel Allowance > Manage Travel Allowance
Select the itinerary
Click Edit
Click Add Stop
Enter departure/return travel details for the missing row
Click Save
Click Done
If there is more than one single-row itinerary to modify:
Open the expense report
Click Travel Allowance > Manage Travel Allowance
Select the extra itinerary
Click Unassign to move the itinerary down
Select the itinerary again and Click Delete
