Test Entities and Imports | Extracts

Hi there,

How do companies without a test entity test changes made to import/extract files?  We are considering cancelling our current test entity but our IT team uses it from time to time.  Does anyone have experience with this they can share?

Good Afternoon,

Many of the customer that do not have test entities will test the import and extracts by using test users.   This way you can test them without affecting your users.

Thank you Andi,

I am familiar with the test user functionality for testing configuration, but our IT team has some concerns with being able to test full loads in production, such as the employee load, creating new user profiles, and updates.   We pull users from two systems, one uses API and the other uses the SFTP process. 

Is there any documentation other the Test User document regarding testing imports and extracts.
