Template to mass update approval managers

We may have to potentially update approval managers for at least 250 users. Is there a way to do this in bulk by using a template?

And if so, how do I go about doing that?

@monica_avila on the User Administration screen there is an option to Import users. Clicking this link brings up a screen to download a template that can be completed. One of the items on the template is the default approver. 

The issue is, you would need to fill out the spreadsheet completely. You might be able to do pull your employee information from an HR or Payroll file to populate the Import Template.

By uploading this template, will this dupliacate users if they already have exisiting profiles? The only detail within their profiles I need changed, is their default approver.
