Scanning options for inventory management

Good day

I was wondering if any of you have a solution or an extra product that integrates with SAP to manage inventory. 

This is what I want to happen:

Products are carried on my Balance statement under inventory. The moment I want it out of my storeroom I can scan a barcode and enter the fleet number and it will automatically create the entry in my GL and expense to the correct expense account.  With a release option like a Purchase order (me21n)

Is this possible? Does anyone know of a solution?

Assistance, guidance would be great.
