Policy Approval

I had a policy approval submitted and approved for travel/expenses.  It was supposed to have been sent to my account, however it is not there.  I realized my email was not verified so I did that assuming that is the issue.  Does the approval have to be re-sent now? Or will it appear at some point on my profile.  Thanks
