Personal car enrollment

hello!

I enrolled my personal car but did not understand what the initial mileage should be, so the value is wrong, and I have no way to correct it seems like.

1/ How can I edit info of my personal car (initial mileage)?

2/ What value should I put in initial mileage?

Thank you,

Sara

@SBO I don't believe you can edit the car information. However, you can add a second car to your profile with the correct information and designate the second car as your Preferred Car.

So, when you enter the initial distance, that shows up as the Distance to Date on the expense report. Your company reimburses by what we call variable rates. If you drive anywhere from 0 to 5000km in a year, you get a reimbursement. Anything over 5000 in a year doesn't get any reimbursement. So, what the system sees right now is that your current distance for this year is 23000. That is the initial distance you entered when you registered your car.

So, if you add a second car and make it your Preferred, you would enter 0 in the initial distance if you have not received any reimbursement for mileage yet this year.

Thank you,

Hi Kevin!

Thanks a bunch for that quick reply.

I just did try to add a second car, make it preferred but the initial mileage is somehow automatically set at 23000 and I seem to have no way to modify it.

Thanks again,

Sara

@SBO Okay, then either a system administrator will need to remove the car or you will have to have your company's SAP Concur Administrator submit a Support Ticket to remove the car from your profile. Until then, any mileage you enter will have a zero amount for reimbursement.

Thank you,
