Pending Card Transactions Happening a LOT!

Hello All,

Pending Card Transactions confuse employees, and when they do not merge correctly, it is super inconvenient. Will there ever be an end to this situation?

Hello @hannahlawrence

It can be disabled by removing the default payment type as "Pending Card Transactions".

In this link explains how payment types works with ExpenseIt: How does ExpenseIt handle Payment Types?

To change the Default Payment Type, look for "Set a Payment Type as Default" section at page 12-13 in the following link:

Thank you for this information, very helpful. I just wish Pending Card Transaction was overall not a thing - it never merges correctly and creates confusion but I would prefer to keep it over the expenses going to an out of pocket expense and creating even more confusion and possible mishaps for incorrect reimbursments.

@hannahlawrence users can also turn off ExpenseIt in the mobile app or on the desktop version so that when they capture a receipt or email a receipt, the images go to Available Receipts, rather than Available Expenses where Pending would show up.

Thank you,
