Overtime Expenses

Hello,

I am currently helping our team and would like to know how most of you handles overtime expenses?  The requirement is claimant can submit overtime request daily for pre-approval by immediate supervisor,which will be handled by Concur Request.  In my past project, we are only using the Expense module to track overtime meals.  

Can you please share how did you go with this process? or did you also create expense types that they can claim for incurring overtime? How Concur Request will come into picture for this type of requirement?

@FatimaL happy to help. Maybe @JessicaL or @DeanR can provide input. I don't know if there companies are using Request or not, but if they are, these two will certainly have some good ideas.

@FatimaL Concur Request isn't my area of expertise, but I think you could create an Overtime expense type and have employees add that to their Request. 

Maybe someone else here on the Community can provide more in-depth information. 🙂

Thanks so much @KevinD for the feedback. That's what I thought too, to create overtime expense for meals and other expense related items that is something to do with OT.  Just wondering though if there were processes in place to other industry or company that has this type of requirements, that uses Concur Request first :).  I want to hear further feedback on the community.

We use an expense type for overtime as suggested above.
