New User Interface Preview

Hi all,

I'm not clear on what we should expect in the Preview of the New User Interface.

I've turned it on (and off) several times and nothing changes.   I don't see any difference.

Another question - if there are differenaces would we see this when we Proxy to another employee? Or only in our own reports?

I thought I heard it won't work when Proxying in as someone.

I found I had to log off and back on to get the new UI to function. You should also see the new UI both for yourself and anyone you proxy to.

I've logged out.  Closed my browser.  Logged in.  Set it and unset it multiple times.

Nothing happens.

What are you seeing?  Is there a clear differance?

I just enabled the new user experience and went back to the Expense tab to find quite a few differences. The overall look and feel has changed and has been modernized, although it will take a period of adjustment. One of the major improvements I see so far is the ability to view the expense transaction details on the left side of the window with the attached receipt image displayed on the right side of the page. This will make entering and reviewing more complex itemizations and allocations much faster. There are new alert icons and the list of expenses on a report looks considerably different than the previous UX. Definitely lots to like about the new UX but for those of us that have worked with Concur for some time, it will take a bit to retrain our eyes to key in on the new alerts. You should definitely be able to see a fairly dramatic difference.

Be careful what you wish for.

At the end of the day I was finally able to get into the new UI.  Then it wouldn't let me back out.   The button said I was back to normal - but I was not.

After that I couldn't get into Concur at all.

I shut down my browser and eventually was able to get back.

Proceed with caution.
