Manager Approval

Today in our workflow the report is routed to their manager. However, if the manager leaves, we have to recall the report, update the manager in user admin and then resubmit the report. Is there a way for the routed reports to pick-up the new manager automatically without having to recall it? THANKS!

This is not possible. The reason being, the report has already been submitted, so there would be no action to trigger the report to go to the new manager. That is why it needs to be recalled, then resubmitted. The resubmission triggers the new routing.
